Experience New Zealand's only Day Out With Thomas
This is a fabulous event for the little "Thomas" fans (and the family too!)
Join Thomas & FriendsTM to enjoy train rides and take part in many Thomas-themed activities, most of which are free when you purchase the Event Pass.
Thomas the Tank Engine will be offering rides in his trucks. His friends Rusty and Terence will be there. And of course the Sir Topham Hatt will be in charge for the day.
Face painting, storytelling, bouncy castle and other fun activities will be available free with your Event Pass. Discover the Play Pod and Bubble Corner, get a photo with everyone's favourite blue engine or talk to the big man himself - Sir Topham Hatt!
A wide range of Thomas & FriendsTM merchandise will be on sale, with hot and cold food and drinks available to purchase onsite.
Two trains will be operating 12km trips over the Glenbrook Vintage Railway Line to Fernleigh and return, departing at 30-minute intervals. The first train departs at 9.30am, with the last train departing at 4pm.
The site is open from 9am - 4pm. Scheduled train times are below and you will receive an information handout upon entry. We recommend that you allow 3 hours for your "Day Out With Thomas".
All tickets can be purchased at the event by cash or card.

Note: Your Event Pass gives each ticket holder one ride and also includes all children's entertainment (face painting, bouncy castle, and other activities within the Bubble Corner and Play Pod area).

A short trundle up and down the siding.
Free upon showing your event pass (One ride per person) or $10 per person for additional rides.
Children under 2 years old ride free

Jump aboard for a 55 minute Steam Train trip from Glenbrook to Fernleigh and return. Includes a brief stop at our workshop engine display.
Trains depart every 30mins from 9.30 to 4pm.
First train departs at 9.30am. Last train departs at 4pm.
Trains are not pre-booked. Simply follow the signs, join the queue and hop aboard!

Hop on the 'Troublesome Trucks' as Thomas takes you for a short ride up and down the siding!
Thomas rides with his Troublesome Trucks depart regularly throughout the day.

FREE Parking is available on-site at Glenbrook Station (the main event site).
Please ensure you park your car at least 30 minutes prior to your train departure time.
Unfortunately there are no public transport options as trains do not run to Waiuku.
Unfortunately Bulgy the Bus will not be attending this event.
